Aspen in Aspen
The calling...
For many years, Aspen has been asked to write about her work "integrating the masculine and feminine energy within" as well as her work addressing the conscious and unconscious mind. Particularly, how to be at choice to "feel" a certain way and "have" certain experiences, both internal and external, and not be driven by the unconscious thoughts, fears, feelings, and beliefs that the mind seems to "dish out."
Aspen is an expert at uncovering and addressing the hidden barriers of the unconscious mind. She came to Aspen, Colorado to take some time to write and never left.
The decision to come to Aspen...
occurred during an extended stay in Aspen. The time in the area provided the opportunity to experience the creativity that seemed to flow in the stillness of the pristine mountains. She says, "The Aspen Valley is a reprieve from the high-level of speaking and teaching over past several years" and comments on the endearment she receives when she is introduced or people ask her name. She recently heard the Governor of Colorado speak about John Denver and his change of name from Deutschendorf to Denver, saying that he took on the name of a place that felt like home to him. She feels the same was true of her when she chose her name, long before she knew she was coming to Aspen.
Grass Roots TV Interview...
Upon arrival to the Valley, Aspen was invited to the set of Grass Roots TV to talk about her work and her plans to be in Aspen. During the interview, she talked about the "bugs" and "viruses" on our "inner human software" and how even when someone "has it all," he or she can still be unfulfilled. Aspen stated that the stakes can be even higher when an individual has a life that most people only aspire to and yet there is still unhappiness. Aspen is no stranger to this particular scenario, having worked with numerous celebrities and influential leaders in the U.S. and abroad on their own personal journeys. She says the answers lie in the unconscious patterns of the mind and emotions. Whether she is working with an influential leader, an individual suffering from PTSD, an athlete who has hit a plateau, or someone seeking fulfillment in an already extraordinary life, the clues are always there that allow her to address these hidden, and often insidious, barriers to an individual's circumstances and life.
Aspen joked about the "clues" and says that it is her former career as a private investigator that now has her looking under every stone, but in truth, her clients know it is her highly intuitive abilities and unique wisdom cultivated over 20 years of investigating the psyche and human nature that gives her the insight to help people with the tenacity and efficiency for which she is known.
Those that work with Aspen come to her aware that their unconscious mind is impacting their inner and outer experience and
are interested in resolving the unwanted patterns of their lives and the barriers to their happiness. She observes that most have tried numerous methods to resolve their undesirable experiences and are looking for lasting answers to their life's deepest inquiries.

While on sabbatical...
Aspen is providing for a limited number of local residents her "Transformational Intensive," a private, three-month, in-depth inquiry designed to get to the root of one's greatest challenges as well as their everyday frustrations. Clients spend 8 half days with Aspen, one-on-one and in person, discovering and resolving the barriers to their life's fulfillment. They are supported in between retreats in a number of ways, including phone and email contact with Aspen, to integrate a sustainable mastery of their life. Aspen teaches her clients how to address the subtle energies of the unconscious mind and the not-so-subtle challenges that undoubtedly occur in life.
